Makarand Toraskar has been a practicing Architect for the last 20 years. With the founding of Ambiaance Design in 1998 (then as Makarand Toraskar & Associates), he started the wonderful journey as a Professional Architect & Designer. AR. SUDHIR THORAT(B.Arch) is managing director of APICES. Sudhir graduated from Sir J.J.College of Architecture in 1996. His training at Shah Dhumasia Architects honed his architectural skills where as his experience with Premnath Architects enhanced his interior designing skills. In 1998 he started his own independent practice under the name APICES Pvt.Ltd. In 2004 it was incorporated as a private limited company. His aesthetic design sense, communication skills and confidence were the key factors in bagging projects from the renowned pharmaceutical companies like Bayer, Sandoz, Colour Chem, Novartis etc. His designs for the Aranca, Spice Lane Restaurant and Asian Banquet Hall reflect his capabilities as Designer. For his projects during the year 2012-2013 the firm was conferred upon as Young Architect of the Year by Era Fame Awards 2013.
